Welcome, to the brand new Johor CIQ. Its big, its huge, its new, and thats about it.
Its not as efficient as what I thought it should be.
Having used it for the past 2 weeks. Here's my comment.
1. Speed Humps
My car won't last 10 years with those speed humps. It should be added into Guiness book of records for the strongest and highest humps.
2. Number of counters available
Damn a lot.
3. Number of counters open
Damn little.
4. Speed of the counters
Damn
5. Touch and go
Brilliant
6. Annoucement of the touch and go
phui
7. Road leading to CIQ
3 lanes to be shared by Motorcycles, Buses and Cars. Its like stuffing 1-2-3 kid, yokozuna and triple H into 3 road. Yokozuna wins. the rest got stuck
8. Road after CIQ towards Woodlands.
Dizzy, giddy, headache.... and whatever you can describe the feeling after a roller coaster ride.
9. Distance CIQ - Woodlands
I pity those who decided to walk from CIQ to Woodlands checkpoint. Think they will change to brand new walking shoes. Majestic 2.4km of it.
10. Overall
I prefer the old custom for its efficiency. At least i've never got stuck for 2 hours.
Oh boy, what do you expect for petrol at RM 1.80?

i'm telling you.... tailor at sunway, kl that made my day!
that if you are looking for tailor made suits or gowns or dresses for specific reason, there is only one place to be.
This shop that I am about to introduce, is not some fancy or lavish tailor shop that you find in Bangkok. This is purely just a tailor auntie manning a shop. No seats for you, not even air cond.
BUT .. there is always a big but here.
The quality of the hand made tailor, magnificant.
I've gotten my pants fixed, my shirt tightened, and she can even do a curtain. I paid only RM 300 for all of those and its all done in just 1 week.
Surprised? Don't be. A quick check with the auntie reveals that everything that was done, was done by hand. Minimal machine involvement. im talking about lean mean hand made tailor 1950s style!
I love my pants now as it doesn;t look fluffy anymore.
Check it out here.
